Dear Mrs. Zrhen

I am reading a book called world at war. It is a complete guide of battle's of ww2. It has battles like D-day. It was about the Allies did a operation  on Normandy so the Allies can liberate France from the Nazis.
Another battle was the battle of Crete. Crete was a island of the coast of Greece which was controlled by the British. so Germany did a full scale airborne operation which German soldiers would parachute down on to the island.

Though it was not easy because the British had anti-aircraft /FLACK would destroy the planes in the air which led to 6,698 German soldiers dead and 23,830 British casualties. Crete was one of the biggest airborne operation in the world and still is today. This book has all the battles from the invasion of Poland to the first Atomic bomb dropped in Japan. About  64,000,000 people died in ww2 it was one of the deadliest and worst wars in the world remember the veterans who served this country, remember them all.
